Hello. 05-21-2004. 2.0T FSI Discussion - Removing Audi Q5 Engine - Help - I'm removing the engine on my Audi Q5 and seem to be stuck. I'm getting separation from the transmission, but can't get it to fully separate. Check out the pictures and let me know if i'm missing something stupid.
Audi Q7 – fuse box diagram – location. On right in dash panel. Left-hand drive models: in centre of dash panel / Right-hand drive models: in driver’s footwell. On right in luggage compartment. Diagram for Fuse location on fuse box cover ( right drivers side ) suggests that its on fuse carrier 3 ( C ) position 4 . Problem is that slot is empty, but my MMI is on and functioning . Need to remove fuse ( once its located ) to cut Oct 12, 2018. #3. You have to remove the front bumper and put the front end in the service position. Then you need a breaker bar and a large torx bit to be able to slacken off the tensioner. After this you can remove the belt and replace and tensioner if you wish, it is only 2 more bolts. Tbh it is highly unlikely it is the belt causing your Just remove and plug. Now that the cooler and lines are removed, all that is left is the coolant lines. EGR removal: Carefully (can't be stressed enough) remove the vacuum lines (2) that go to the EGR assembly (remember which one goes where). The one that goes to the "anti-shutter" flap has a plastic nipple that is prone to breakage.
