Open Google Maps on your iPhone while not connected to car play. Click your profile icon in the top right (at the right of the search bar) Click on settings. Click on Navigation. Toggle the setting for "Play voice over Bluetooth" to off. Go back to main map screen. Plug your phone in and start up car play.

39 posts · Joined 2016. #7 · Jul 11, 2019. Quick update - Jaguar dealer reloaded ICT Pro software to see if they can fix the CarPlay issue. First impression is that something has changed as there's no delay in CarPlay being recognised when plugging in the phone.

Apple CarPlay will not launch in ZS after plugging in the USB cable if your iPhone is locked and you haven’t allowed access in the settings. Go to Settings > General > CarPlay, and select your vehicle name under MY CAR. Then turn on the slider button next to ‘Allow CarPlay While Locked’. Settings > General > CarPlay > Your Car Name
