2323 posts · Joined 2005. #7 · Nov 27, 2005. the k20a3 will make power under boost as long as it is custom tuned with kpro or EMS. The actually billet rod in the A3 is good quality, but its the rod bearings and bolts that are crap. The A3 motor isn't worth very much money mint.
Preliminary instructions. · Disconnect battery and remove it. · Remove the stock exhaust system (refer to the Helms manual) · Remove the stock air box (refer to the Helms manual) · Jack up the front of the car and place on jack stands (the higher the better) · Remove front wheels. · Remove the front bumper.

The CTD K series T3 Top mount was born, dubbed affectionately "The Special K". Here is a pic of turbo placement on a K24 in a TSX. 35R T3 open, 3" downpipe. This engine bay is quite a bit cleaner than mine so I'll put these pix up first, haha. 57 Trim, nice little 400 hp setup. Not yet ported 100%, flange also needs to be machined.

Fortunately for us, our team had a factory 10th Gen Civic 1.5L (Si) Turbocharger here to use for a side-by-side comparison.
